I have a bunch of bathroom tissue paper tubes that I am always trying to find a new use for... and I've been weaving various styles of Weed Pockets. SOOO, while I was ordering new paper slicers from Stampin' Up, I messed up the order royally. I was having one of those "electronics don't like me" days and I just couldn't get my computer to work... then I was lost in the website... half my order went through... OH, it was a mess. In comes my friend Donna, my SU rep to the rescue. Not only did she figure out what I did wrong, she re-did the order, got the freebies that were due me and just plain fixed everything!!!!
So, while I was brainstorming a little "thank you basket" for her, it came to me! Weed pockets from a tissue paper tube... ok, maybe you don't see the connection, LOL. I used paper strips that I cut with the SU paper cutter, some punches and stamps also from SU, wove these strip into a paper basket around the tube and sent this off to Donna with a pipberry stem inside.
She loved it, I loved making it for her and hope you like it, too.
